Modern Yellow Wedding | Miromar Lakes Beach Club | Miromar, FL
Florals were a mix of the most stunning golden yellow florals. Without a doubt, the yellow tree peonies were the statement floral.
For Rachelle's bouquet, we really wanted to set the tone for the event. It was cheerful, joyful and romantic. The timeless varieties (roses, peonies, ranunculus) with the modern color choice was breathtaking! If you follow me, you know that I don't typically use a ton of color (I love earthy neutrals), but this design made me a believer in color again.
Boutonnieres were created with ranunculus in shades ranging from buttercream yellow to vibrant yellow to orange. We used young buds to ensure a "rounded", petite shape. Using huckleberry greenery and cream solidago to compete the miniature arrangement.
For the ceremony, we created two (almost identical) asymmetrical arrangements with all of the yellow floral tones and greenery and placed them atop of classic white pillars. The bulk of the arrangement was created with roses and ranunculus, with peonies at the "statement" floral. In addition to the delicate blooms, we also used freesia and billy balls for rich yellow color. These are two of the only florals that are consistently the same bright golden tone, so if you're searching for yellow florals, they're a great go-to!
Centerpieces were a mix of greenery garlands and garden style pieces in the same florals form the personal flowers & ceremony. Lots of garden & spray roses took center stage!
Although we had nothing to do with the cake, we can't not mention it. It was a magnificent piece of art created by Kakes by Karen! The hand-drawn floral detail had our heart (it was almost an exact replica of the peonies we used)!
